BROVI ONE - INORGANIC SERIES OF PMU TATTOO INK

HISTORICAL DIGRESSION
Inorganic inks for tattoos and permanent makeup were the first and relatively serious inks in the history of the industry. They replaced substances like 'burnt rubber,' mascara, and writing inks that people used to inject under the skin.
Inorganic inks varied greatly. Different colours, consistencies, and bases. Over time, brown inorganic ink turned red, coloured ones turned very dull after healing, many inks were hard to implant, and others simply did not stay in the skin for long. If the artist didn't work for some time, the ink would quickly become unusable during this time—the pigment would settle at the bottom of the bottle and harden, making the ink unusable.
As the industry developed, new inks appeared. They were made from organic pigments and mixed with inorganic ones, resulting in extensive colour palettes, bright colours, ease of application, and favourable healing outcomes. Organic hybrids are displacing inorganic inks.
INORGANICS ON THE PMU MARKET TODAY
Permanent makeup artists loved organic hybrids for their ease of work and bright results, the fineness of lines in hair strokes, and their durability, which allowed a long time to pass without touchups and updates.
Inorganic inks have not completely left the market. Some brands confidently compete with organic hybrids. We tracked the trends in the development of inorganic ink. We noticed that the production of inorganic pigments themselves is not stagnant, and they have become much more stable (yellow iron oxide and black iron oxide no longer turn red as quickly, they will be removed from the body faster than they can turn red). And we thought that we have something to add to this, seemingly already complete story. Thus, our new product - BROVI ONE - was created.
THE ONE SERIES EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR
ONE - because it is pure inorganic, the very one with which it all started. The first serious inks. Inorganic BROVI ONE is based on the tattoo ink Addiction Tattoo Ink - a new project by Bogdan Meskhi for the production of tattoo inks. That's why both brands work in collaboration.
In BROVI ONE, we have utilised the proprietary base mix of 'Addiction,' which consists of an aqueous-alcohol base with copolymer additives. The formula exclusively uses micronized iron oxide pigments and Carbon Black. Particle sizes are less than 1 μm. BROVI ONE ink is produced without titanium dioxide and chromium oxide, using domestic components.
FEATURES OF THE COMPOSITIONS
- 50% less black pigment than other inks. The unique technology of ink homogenisation (mixing) allows us to obtain a stable brown ink with significantly less use of carbon black (Carbon Black CI#77266).
- Our proprietary base blend reduces pigment particles' sedimentation process (settling at the bottom). The pigments are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. If the pigments have settled, a few shakes of the bottle will fully stabilise the suspension.
- The production uses modern, benzopyrene-purified, and safe Carbon Black (CI#77266 — Pigment Black 7).
- The base mixture is based on purified water (without salts and impurities) with the addition of isopropanol and phenylcarbinol—no bacteria can survive in such a mixture.
- The alcohols mentioned increase the sterility of the ink, prevent inflammation in the skin, and ensure its safety for the human body.
- The ink can be implanted with the same ease as hybrid ink. This is also a feature of the base mixture. But we still recommend increasing the pressure when working with hair strokes.
- The ink does not get over-consumed. BROVI ONE does not dry out, unlike other inorganic inks. You will not need to constantly add ink to the caps or dilute it. The ink also does not dry in the cartridge nozzle. Thanks to a simple test, where ink is dropped onto glass and left to dry, we saw that the ink did not dry out for a week. There is no point in observing further. The droplet fully retained its original state.
- The ink adheres well to stainless steel, particularly to the needle. Uniform implantation of inks into the skin, without excessive flow into a large droplet on the nozzle, is ensured.
- We succeeded in creating a vibrant and warm ink without the use of titanium dioxide. This means that such ink will be very easy to remove with a laser.
- The cherry on top is new inorganic black with an extremely low amount of red iron oxide, but sufficient to avoid the appearance of negative shades in any case (the strokes will not turn gray/blue).
- There is no longer a need to add an orange corrector to the ink - everything is already done for you, in the right proportions.
TEST RESULTS
The ink does not contain animal products and is 100% suitable for vegans. We do not test the ink on animals. We carried out laboratory analyses and immediately tested the ink on ourselves and our PMU artists.
The ink does not splash or spread on the skin, and distributes evenly without leaving leaks or gaps.
We invite you to experience a completely new way of working with inorganic inks. We are sure that you will be pleasantly surprised.
